Spares Enquiry

Need a service part, replacement item or help with stock planning for a gun-drilling or deep-hole boring machine? Deephole supports manufacturers and engineering shops from Benoni to Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha with practical spares guidance and parts support.

Request the right spares before downtime starts

When a deep-hole boring or gun-drilling machine stops, the right spare can save a full shift. Our spares enquiry process is set up for workshops that need clear advice on service parts, wear items and replacements without guesswork.

Tell us what machine you have, what part you need, and what problem you are seeing on the shop floor. If you are not sure of the exact item, our team can help narrow it down from the component, the symptom, or the work you are doing on stainless steel, carbon steel or other materials common in South African production.

  • Spare part identification support
  • Replacement guidance for worn components
  • Stock planning for planned maintenance
  • Help for machines in Benoni, Johannesburg, Pretoria and beyond

What to include in your enquiry

The more detail you send, the faster we can help. A short note with the machine type, the part description and the urgency gives our support team a good starting point. If the machine is down, include that too so we can treat it as a breakdown support request.

  • Machine type and model details, if available
  • Part name, photo, drawing or worn sample description
  • Current issue such as leakage, chatter, poor finish or misalignment
  • Your delivery town, whether you are in Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha or the East Rand

If you are unsure about a part number, do not wait for the workshop to grind to a halt. Send what you have and we will work from that. A photo of the old item or the assembly around it often helps more than a half remembered description.

Parts support for busy South African workshops

Many shops carry a basic spares list and then order the rest as needed. That works until a seal, guide, fitting or other wear item reaches the end of its service life on a Friday afternoon. We assist with practical stock planning so you can reduce stoppages and keep the machine ready for the next job.

For facilities dealing with load-shedding, shift work or tight production windows, it helps to keep key consumables and critical replacements on hand. We can talk through which parts are sensible to keep in local stock and which items are better ordered on demand.

  • Critical wear parts for recurring service work
  • Consumables linked to coolant and chip control
  • Items needed for alignment checks and setup work
  • Replacement support for maintenance planning

How our support team handles a spares request

Your enquiry is reviewed by the support team and routed to the right person based on the part and the machine issue. Ayanda Mokoena handles sales enquiries, Johan Smit supports applications, Francois du Plessis deals with machine-side technical checks, and Sibusiso Khumalo assists with tooling related matters where spares affect the cutting process.

Noluthando Dlamini coordinates service requests, Leanne Naidoo supports training related questions where part changes affect operation, and our Benoni base keeps the workflow tight for customers across Gauteng and further afield. If the request needs a workshop visit, we can discuss installation, commissioning, alignment checks or preventive maintenance as part of the next step.

  • Initial review of the enquiry
  • Identification of the part or likely replacement
  • Advice on urgent action if production is at risk
  • Direction to collection, delivery or service follow up

When spares requests become a service call

Sometimes the problem is not only a missing part. If the machine is showing repeat failures, poor finish, coolant issues or alignment drift, the better route may be a site visit or a full troubleshooting call. That is common on machines that have been running through hot summer months, coastal humidity or long production runs with limited stoppages.

We support workshops with breakdown support, coolant system service, process troubleshooting and production startup where a replacement part needs to be fitted and proven in operation. If you are in Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Johannesburg or Gqeberha, we can work with your location and your production timetable.

Send your enquiry through the contact page

Clients reach us through the enquiry form on our contact page, which keeps the request in one place and helps us respond properly. Include your location, the machine type, the part you need and any photos or notes that will help us identify the item.

Deephole was founded in 2008 and has grown from our Benoni base into a support partner for manufacturers and engineering shops across South Africa. If you need replacement parts, service spares or help planning next month’s stock, send the details through and we will take it from there.

Questions we get asked

What should I include in a spares enquiry?

Send the machine type, the part description, any photos you have and a short note on the fault or wear issue. If you know your town or site location, add that as well.

Can you help if I do not know the exact part number?

Yes. A photo, worn sample or description of the issue is often enough for us to start identifying the correct spare or replacement path.

Do you only support customers in Gauteng?

No. We support spares enquiries from Benoni, Johannesburg, Pretoria and the East Rand, and also from Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha across South Africa.
